Jura 1988 Great Quality

Distilled on the isle of Jura’s eponymous distillery in 1988 and matured in small batch ex-bourbon casks for much of its life, this rare vintage has been finished in 20 Years Old Tawny Port pipes sourced from the Symington Family Estates in Portugal. Only 1,406 bottles have been filled, aged 30 years old, each one presented at a natural cask strength of 53.5% abv. The nose is mellow and fruity with brambles and dried currants alongside chocolate sponge cake and fresh coffee. The palate has more berries, with sweet butterscotch emerging before a liquorice note in the finish.
